Time flies when you are having fun! The first year of a baby's life is full of milestones from making eye contact, first smiles and giggles, first foods and crawling, until one of the biggest celebrations in a child's life - their First Birthday! What an incredible year of firsts and what incredible time in a family's life. This year is a part of your family's story and we are so blessed to have baby's come into the studio to celebrate with us. Many family's choose to mark this milestone with birthday photos.
Meet Briar. This firecracker came into the studio to celebrate her first birthday milestone with a Winter Wonderland cake smash theme! We were able to incorporate these pretty white twinkle light trees that I had just picked up from a wedding vendor and I added in some greenery as well. Mom wanted mostly whites with a touch of brown and green. We kept it pretty neutral so Briar could be the star of the show! She really liked her cake with it’s snowflakes - Mom did such a great job with the design! I added some additional snow during the editing process so it all came together perfectly!

We have a list of professional bakers we recommend clients use from the Kingston area to fit all budgets and aesthetics as well as dietary needs. We now offer to coordinate our sets with a bakers design and take care of ordering the cake from one of our preferred vendors, for an additional fee, so parents won't have to worry about anything at all - they can just come and have fun! Our baby milestone sessions are completely taken care of, so you and baby can just show up and have fun! No need to worry about bringing props or outfits! We like to keep our sets simple so your baby is the star!
We offer all of our baby clients full wardrobe styling for their regular baby portraits which are included in every baby cake smash session. Briar was so adorable during the first part of her session in the studio - I especially loved her in our new Earth toned suspender set with adorable pink and brown flowers paired with our baby bed on our cream textured set. Look at her smile!
Our pink champagne tulle dress is super popular for baby girls in the studio and Briar was busy crawling around the set in it. This portrait is one of my faves from our time together. She was so cute in our white bowl!
