Using Flower Headbands and Halos in Newborn Portraits
If you’ve seen my work before you know I'm a huge fan of using flower headbands and halos for little girls in both newborn sessions and for baby milestone portraits like 6 month sitter portraits or first birthday portraits. I have a great love for unique pieces and I often find them at one of my favourite vendors Little Bird Photography Props. Zelia the designer and owner of this Canadian company is so talented and really puts a lot of thought into each one of her creations. Each halo and headband is made with delicate flowers and foliage, beads and pearls, as well as soft materials to protect your baby’s head. This attention to detail is so important in creating these delicate flower headbands and your baby’s safety is always the most important thing to me. Take a look at a few flower headbands I’ve used in the past! I like to incorporate at least 2 into every baby girl’s photography session and I think it adds a bit of whimsy to your custom session.
